Is an event coordinator required?
A wedding coordinator is not a must have for a wedding and reception held at Cypress Manor. However, event coordinators are encouraged for any and all events to run smoothly. Please refer to our preferred vendors list for professional coordinators/planners familiar with Cypress Manor.
How many people can the venue accommodate?
Cypress Manor can accommodate over 300 guests for a sit-down dinner and over 500 for a cocktail event.
How do I secure a date for my event?
To secure your date for an event, a signed contract, a $500 security/cleaning deposit and a 50% of the rental fee must be returned to our office. Please note, the date is not confirmed until your deposit is received. Final payment is due 30 days prior to your event.
How much time is included in my rental fee?
Cypress Manor is rented for a maximum of 8 hours which is typically 4PM - 12AM. The on-site coordinator/manager will arrive at least 3 hrs prior to the start time to assist with set-up and vendor coordination. Post event clean-up/tear down is included in the 8-hour time frame.
Are there any restrictions at Cypress Manor?
There are some restrictions at the Cypress Manor.
All vendors must provide evidence of liability insurance.
The use of confetti and/or glitter is extremely difficult to clean and $250 of the security deposit will be retained if the event uses confetti and/or glitter.
Sparklers may be used outside Cypress Manor. You are responsible for providing receptacles for disposal of extinguished sparklers and cleaning of grounds.
Smoke Machines, fog machines and sparklers inside the building are prohibited.
